Update: March 1st of 2025 I launched my business Whimsy Brooke – I can’t believe it’s already been a year!! Today, (04.22.26) I made the decision to end the era of Musings of a Brunette and officially purchase a domain for Whimsy Brooke. I’ll be opening a storefront shortly as I figure it all out. Musings of a Brunette is my way of getting myself back into journalling. Instead of sticking to one topic, my blog will be all over the place… my thoughts, daily stories, fashion, interning experiences, memories, inspirations, etc – all jumbled up in one organized mess. I’ve started a blog before and I never knew what to write about, so it was quickly forgotten. But this time there will be no more excuses! I’m new to blogging and everyone has to start somewhere so I’m going to learn to stick with it… after all, people who journal apparently have better immune systems (!!!) How cool is that?! Sign me up! Haha.
About Me’s are the hardest things for me to write, so grab a cuppa tea! As you can see, my name is Natalie Brooke. Thirty-five years old. I’m an old fashioned woman born in the wrong era with a love for anything vintage. I live with six other women and a house cat, and am currently volunteering at a secondhand store, and waitressing at a bake shop that also serves breakfast! I’m a lover of animals, and all things feminine! I enjoy old movies, being curled up with a good book with a cat on my lap, nutella, fashion, illustrating fashion, romance novels, having a kindred spirit, giving advice, Audrey Hepburn, Elvis Presley, Lucille Ball, Doris Day, laughing till I cry, scrapbooking, doing crafts, dreaming, writing letters, and (of course!) getting mail.
