Five on Friday | 07.19.24

Happy Friday! I hope you had a good one, as I’m posting this quite late into the day. I thought I would start a new series on here, and found this one. It sounds like fun – so why not?! Grab a cuppa and enjoy!

one. The highlight of the week: Our AC was finally fixed today!! After a long agonizing time without, we’re finally enjoying a cool house. Since I don’t have a vent in my room (crazy, right?!) I had to install my old AC unit into the window. I’m so thankful I had one to use.

two. I bought David Garlick’s second book, and he signed it! He even made a special trip to the library to bring it to me. He’s a local author who is an amazing writer. I hope to interview him for my blog soon.

three. My dad and I have been helping my Grandma declutter her basement – which has been really fun so far. I’ve really loved seeing what she’s collected over the years, there’s so many treasures and cherished memories! Especially all the photos.

four. I cut my bangs this week! They turned out well for the most part, but now I have to straighten them if they get too out of control (frizzy and curly!) I’m hoping to get a haircut soon too!

five. I hit the 200 posts mark the other day! Yay!! Now, onwards and upwards!
