Happy Friday! I hope y-o-u had a wonderfully epic day! It’s almost the weekend, eh? What’s on the docket for today? Got any fun weekend plans? I can’t believe how fast the week went once again!! Hopefully it was a good one for you!

one. Some of you may know that I recently started working at a local bake shop and breakfast place. It’s called the Olde Towne Bake Shoppe – it’s located inside the historical McGregor-Cowan House, which was built between 1806 and 1808. Waitressing is definitely a learning curve for me, but I’m liking it so far. The baked goods are really good, if you’re local you should check it out!

two. The highlight of my week was volunteering at Maycourt where I picked up a few items for only $26!! I got three shirts, two beautiful frames, a pair of shoes and 1 vintage towel and face cloth. I love my co-volunteers and the regulars that come in, it’s a fun experience each time I’m in. Now, after topping off my sweater collection I’m trying to do the same for my summer wardrobe.

three. Business has been super slow this year in contrast to last year… I’m hoping once I have my shop up and running on here it’ll pick up. I’ll have a grand opening sale, of course! I’m so excited for this to launch – I hope it makes browsing and ordering a lot easier. Let me know what you’d like to see in the shop!

four. I found the absolute most cutest game ever. It’s called lofi.town, and it’s oh so fun. It helps you focus by using the Pomodoro Technique so you can study, do housework, and get other tasks done! Definitely check it out. five. I checked out a new local thrift shop in town with a friend last week, it’s called St Vincent De Paul (Society Shoppe) It’s in a pretty cool retro like building on Drouillard Road here in Windsor. I’ll definitely be going again. Oh! I bought a cute little fanny pack I’ll be using as a cash purse at my future markets. Here’s a photo of the outside of the shop below!
